I'm waiting for the day I can "invest" in a creator with a few thousand subs before they blow up. Invest is under quotes because it's a gamble ;)

Traditional Income Share Agreement models tend to have a relative "short term" bias to them, making them feel transactional, while existing label contracts tend to force artists to give away too much upside. In 2020, artists really felt the pain, as they weren't able to recuperate income from live touring and merch as much as in the past.
Overall, Creators and investors have an appetite to figure this out. I'm excited about how "talent investing" will shape up over the next few years :)
